Dr Parlee is a licensed clinical psychologist with private psychotherapy and personal life coaching practices in Mill Valley, California. Bert serves as VP, Chief of Staff, at Ken Wilber’s Integral Institute in Colorado, where he also works as a large group trainer and facilitator. He has facilitated and co-trained with Don Beck at Spiral Dynamics seminars, and is a partner, leadership trainer, executive coach and management consultant for Seattle’s Integral Development Associates. He also serves as an executive coach with the Stagen Leadership Institute in Dallas. Bert teaches at the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, and for the Organizational Psychology Coaching program at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasanton, California. Bert honored in Political Science from the University of New Brunswick in 1977, and has a MA in contemplative psychology from Naropa University, 1984. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, 1993.

A Canadian from Prince Edward Island, Bert lives with his wife Patti in Marin County, California. An ardent lover of “moving pictures”, he incorporates this medium into his trainings, and has also taught graduate level classes on film . Bert has traveled extensively, and after spending two years in Asia in the 1970’s, has been ongoingly involved with different forms of contemplative practice. Bert and his wife love to sing and play the guitar, as well as hike, run, bike, golf and snorkel in tropical settings.
